Premium Somali Frankincense & Myrrh for Global B2B Buyers

Maydi, Beeyo and myrrh resin — collected, sorted and export-coordinated at origin, with documentation agreed for each shipment.

Direct from origin

A direct supply chain, not a middleman

We work directly across the supply chain in Somalia — from collection and sorting to quality control, packing and export coordination.

Somali frankincense and myrrh have supplied the world's perfumers and pharmacopoeias for thousands of years. What professional buyers often struggle to find is not quality, but consistency: grading that can be specified, documentation that can be relied on, and one coordinated point of contact.

Horn Resins is a Danish–Somali supplier built around that gap. Collection, sorting, grading and packing happen at origin under our coordination; commercial relationships, samples and contracts are handled from our office in Aarhus, Denmark. This direct structure supports greater transparency, traceability and consistency than commodity trading channels.

From tree to export

One journey, under our coordination

Not a broker's catalogue — a supply chain we work in directly. Follow the resin from the tree to the export sack.

Step 01 — Harvest

Tapped by hand, at origin

Resin is tapped from Boswellia and Commiphora trees in managed cycles by experienced harvesters, collected by hand and moved for sorting.

02Step 02 — The resin

The resin itself

Natural tears, hardened in dry air — valued for aroma, clarity and cleanliness, and graded as a natural product rather than a processed uniform commodity.

03Step 03 — Quality

Sorting & grading

Each lot is hand-sorted and graded against our indicative A–C standard — tear size, colour and cleanliness — with lot-specific documentation agreed at quotation.

04Step 04 — Export

Packing & export

Graded resin is packed in export sacks, documented and coordinated for shipment — one coordinated point of contact from enquiry to delivery.

Natural, specified, documented

Graded to specification — not averaged into a commodity

Every lot is a natural product with its own character. We grade it, describe it and document it so professional buyers can specify exactly what they are purchasing.
